DEVELOPMENT NEVER STOPS
Our Induction training is thorough, supportive and fun. You’ll start your career at Robinwood with a group of up to 11 other new starters, so you’ll all be in the same boat from the off, and provide a built-in support network for each other.
Your Line Manager plays a crucial role in your development, along with your buddy, who will work alongside you when you do your first groups, so you never feel thrown in at the deep end without being fully prepared. Our training team have one outcome in mind – that you succeed, so you have plenty of people behind you all the way.
ONGOING TRAINING
Training and development never stops– even our longest serving employees are always learning. We offer funded NGB training, so if you’re ready to go and do some further training in Canoeing or Climbing, across a range of relevant courses, we’ll pay for it (up to a reasonable level, of course).
If you’re interested in online learning, there a range of courses through High-Speed Training that are available to you free of charge, and we’ll even pay for your time to complete them!
CENTRE BASED TRAINING
Development days, refresher training and training for specialist roles are all provided throughout the year on site. You can also sign up for Archery GB courses and First Aid at Work that we provide on centre, run by experts.
ALWAYS DEVELOPING
We think we offer a pretty comprehensive training package, but we are also always learning, and staff feedback helps shape the overall training package offered, year after year, so our offering develops with you – the staff team.
