Having the Very Best staff is at the heart of Robinwood. We are proud to be a Real Living Wage Employer, and to give our staff the best possible deal we can. You’ll start with us on a 4 day contract, with options to move to 3 and 5 days available.
As a Real Living Wage Employer, our starting pay rates increase in May each year in line with the Real Living Wage increase.
WHAT DO YOU GET?
Group Leaders starting pay is £13.45 per hour * (with an additional 40p per hour following successful completion of your 6-month probation period).
Group Leaders start on a 30 HPW (4-day week) contract. After probation, you can move to a 33 HPW (5-day week) contract, and with the 2027 Real Living Wage increase taking effect in May, your pay will be £14.50 per hour.
On a 33 HPW contract this results in an annual pay of £24,882.
*After May 2027, Group Leaders starting pay will be £14.10 per hour * (increasing to £14.50 per hour following probation).
*Group leaders at Barhaugh Hall currently also receive an additional 20p per hour regional pay increment.
We use an annualised hours system to ensure that you receive a consistent monthly wage, regardless of differences in your monthly work hours. Your permanent, year-round contract provides financial stability, helping you plan for the future. It also enables you to have at least 12 weeks off over the course of the year, aligned mostly with school holiday periods.
A TAX-FREE BONUS FOR ALL STAFF!
As an Employee-Owned Company, all staff receive a tax free bonus based on the profit made by Robinwood in the previous year.
If Robinwood makes its target profit level, staff will take home a bonus equivalent to 4% of their total pay the previous year – completely tax free. Perfect to put towards an adventure in all that paid holiday time perhaps?
Other bonuses offered include recommend a friend – up to £500 for everyone YOU recommend that becomes a Group Leader or Lead Cook, and long service bonuses of £750 every 5 years served.
