Team Challenge

Most of our activity sessions take place with one activity group and their Group Leader at a time, but for Team Challenge we get a number of activity groups together in the evening for various inter-group challenges. This is an opportunity for the whole school group to share experiences. Teachers, children, Group Leaders and Course Leaders spend time together, taking part in stimulating and fun challenges. We have a lot of different options for team challenge activities and in order that we can run a team challenge that is right for each school, we invite teachers to choose activities and have some input on the way Team Challenge operates before the session starts.

Developing qualities on each activity session

From the 12 qualities, we have identified 6 that are best developed on each activity; for Team Challenge they are:
  • Communication
  • Listening
  • Encouragement
  • Cooperation
  • Problem Solving
  • Respect

Other Activities at Robinwood

We typically have 15 high-quality activity sessions packed into three days. Some sessions differ from centre to centre, but all centres run a similar programme, focussed on key stage two. There are some variations according to the time of year.

What Schools Say About Robinwood

We really appreciate all the recommendations we get from schools who have visited Robinwood and the number of schools who come for the first time as a result of recommendations from friends and colleagues. We are constantly updating the comments from schools who have recently attended a Robinwood course. The schools that attend come from areas of the Midlands, throughout the North of England and up into Scotland. But don’t just take our word for it, See what they have to say about Robinwood.
