PAY & REWARD

A TRANSPARENT PAY STRUCTURE

With paid breaks, free food, uniform and training provided, what you see advertised as pay is what you get – its simple!

After passing probation, you will be earning £14.50 per hour, which is yearly pay of £24,882 with 12 weeks of paid time off a year, if working 5 days a week.

And did we mention we would pay travel expenses and accommodation for people travelling from further afield to attend a centre visit after passing your Zoom Selection? We’ll even pay for your DBS too. It doesn’t stop there either, as we offer house purchase assistance for staff at all sites and a relocation grant for the best staff that are moving to take up a position at Barhaugh Hall.

MAKING THE MOVE TO ROBINWOOD

Ideally, your commute to your centre would be less than 45mins, so many new starters choose to move closer to one of our centres in order to take up a job with Robinwood.

If you want to work at an adventure and teamwork, activity centre for children, we strongly believe that Robinwood offers the very best opportunity to do this. We offer year-round employment and a wonderful place to work, with great career development opportunities.

Moving to take up a new job may be a big step to take, but for Robinwood we believe it’s very much worth it, and we are ready to help you each step of the way in doing this.

We are happy to assist you in finding suitable accommodation, near your centre. We will connect you with other new starters and current staff, so you might even have readymade housemates.

Making new friends after the move should be easy, as you will quickly become part of the close-knit team at your centre.

RE-LOCATION GRANTS

We offer a re-location grant, of £2,000 to support high quality applicants that relocate to join our team, which means an additional £2,000 is included in the first months’ pay.

Being awarded a re-location grant is dependent on performance within the selection process, and the needs of each Robinwood Centre.

We currently have re-location grants available for new starters appointed to start at Barhaugh Hall, Alston, Cumbria.

HELP TO BUY

Well over 1,000 staff have moved to live near to one of our centres, in order to take up a job with Robinwood. Many of these have settled in the area, and continue to work for Robinwood today.

In order to help people settle in the area, we also operate a house purchase assistance scheme, available to new starters following successful completion of their 6-month probation period.

We offer £2,000 to assist with a house purchase, but ask that anyone who takes advantage of this house purchase assistance scheme, stays for at least 3 years with Robinwood. Some of £2,000 provided would need to be repaid if a claimant left within the 3 years for receiving the assistance, but from 3 years onwards no repayment is required – there’s really no catch!

We are very proud that over 100 Robinwood staff have received £2,000 assistance from Robinwood, to purchase their own house.
