In November 2024, Robinwood took an exciting leap forward and became a fully employee-owned company.
As our shareholders prepared to step back after years of incredible growth, their highest priority wasn’t selling the business to an outside buyer; it was protecting Robinwood’s identity. They wanted to guarantee that our strong vision, all-encompassing values, and unique culture would continue to thrive for decades to come.

YOUR VOICE MATTERS
We have a companywide Staff Engagement Team with every centre represented and regular meetings held throughout the year. Proposals are brought forward with suggestions for the provision for the staff team and for customers. Regardless of who they are for, everything discussed has the same aim; making improvements that strengthen Robinwood.
From the Staff Engagement Team, there is a representative from each centre that sits on the board of trustees. Our Trustee Directors have a broader overview of the company and discuss more strategic proposals put forward by the Leadership Team.

From Group Leaders, Activity Centre Assistants, Housekeeping and beyond, every employee should want to deliver their role to the absolute best they can and to make every school’s experience the highest quality possible. WHERE WE’VE COME FROM
Robinwood was established back in 1994 with a clear vision: to make a really positive difference by developing children. Over the years, we’ve grown from our original roots into three stunning activity centres across Yorkshire, Cumbria, and North Wales. Whilst where we’ve come from has shaped who we are, we continue to look forward and the future looks very exciting.
