Selection
We take great care to attract the best applicants by offering an excellent all round staff package and advertising widely the opportunities available.
We offer what we believe is the best employment and training package available for staff. As a result we get in excess of 10 good applicants for every 1 person appointed at Robinwood.
We have a rigorous selection process and staff training programme, to ensure we appoint the best and then get the very best from them:
- We make shortlists from the application forms received.
- We run several selection days including interviews and a range of selection tasks for candidates.
- We take up references, do Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and verify qualifications held.
We just think Robinwood is fantastic and covers all the needs of staff and children in a warm environment which encourages the children to push themselves beyond their comfort zones without ever feeling there is no support. All the staff as always were excellent.
