Both activity centres are situated in great locations for taking part in adventure activities. A lot of the outdoor activity sessions provided for staff can be used to build up your log book for NGB assessments, for Canoeing, Climbing and Walking.
Throughout the course of a year at Robinwood we will offer the following opportunities for Robinwood staff to take part in adventure activities under the guidance of independent experts and/or Robinwood senior staff:
Staff residentials generally take place at Easter and in October, with opportunities for climbing, hill walking and canoeing.
We offer other activities, more as fun team building events, as part of the overall Robinwood staff package at no extra charge. These could, for example, include a paintball day or an indoor karting grand prix event.
A key part of working at Robinwood is the social life. We have a staff team with similar interests, generally aged between 21 and 30, who are keen to have a good time. There are plenty of pub trips, staff meals out and a variety of other social events. We do also find time to get a lot of work done !
Staff of usual excellent standard - learnt children’s names but more importantly their individual characters, strengths and weaknesses. I have been involved in residential activities for 20+ years and I recommend Robinwood to EVERYONE. Where do you find all these enthusiastic committed young people?
