Lost Property
We make effort to keep lost property to a minimum. Group leaders will be continually checking to see that children do not lose clothing and that they pack everything to return home on the final day.
We also provide a lot of clothing at Robinwood so that children do not need to bring large amounts with them.
If any items are left behind we will return them to the school within a few days of the end of the course. It is always easier to return clothing to the correct school, if the clothing is clearly labelled with the child's name. We do not normally return un-named underwear and socks, if they are left behind at Robinwood.
If you have items missing after returning home from a Robinwood trip, please check with the school/party leader to see if any of the items have been returned to the school.
I've been to Robinwood the last 3 years with year 4 pupils. Every year I am apprehensive about the responsibility as leader but once I arrive that feeling lifts and the enjoyment begins. Everything is perfectly organised meaning Robinwood staff are calm and can get on with their jobs professionally. This then means I can relax and enjoy the Robinwood experience with the rest of my school. Safety is top priority but every eventuality has been thought of and prepared for. Robinwood is a life experience not to be missed that pupils, teachers and helpers never forget.
