Residential Courses for 8 to 11 year olds
Three full days away from home is generally enough for most 8 to 11 year olds. Whilst they are on a school residential it is important that they are kept busy, stimulated, challenged and entertained. We operate courses from Monday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Friday and Friday to Sunday.
A child centred approach
The course leader and group leaders stick with their school group throughout the activity course. For activities like climbing, canoeing, zip wire and trapeze there are additional qualified instructors to take charge, working alongside the group leader.

Having done 5 day successful residentials for 8 years, we had to work hard to convince some parents that Robinwood would still offer value for money, given that it was 'only' 3 day length. It was proved without a doubt to do so! You certainly pack probably 'more' than 5 days activity into the 3-day package - and the parents certainly agreed, when they saw the children at the end of it, and heard their action-packed anecdotes!! Absolutely fantastic time had by all - including our staff who loved rising to the challenges of the activities along with the children!
