Outdoor Activity

Available at: BHDCOS

There are a series of problems for each activity group to overcome and if they can manage to do this the Quest is achieved. To find solutions they will need brain power and physical skills, but most of all teamwork. We have problems for the whole activity group together and problems for smaller groups, which ensure that every child is involved. The different centres often develop their own variations on this theme, including for example ‘Dragons Quest’, ‘Knights Quest’ and ‘Alien Conspiracy’.

Other Activities at Robinwood

We have 15 high quality activity sessions. Although most are offered at all Robinwood centres, there are some which only operate at selected centres. All centres run a very similar, busy programme with typically 15 activities packed in to the three days at Robinwood. There are slight variations in activities offered at each centre and the activity programme also varies according to the time of year.

What Schools say about our activities

We really appreciate all the recommendations we get from schools who have visited Robinwood and the number of schools who come for the first time as a result of recommendations from friends and colleagues. We are constantly updating the comments from schools who have recently attended a Robinwood Course. The schools that attend come from areas of the Midlands, throughout the North of England and up into Scotland. But don’t just take our word for it, See what they have to say about robinwood. "Everyone had an amazing time ! Children were so well looked after - staff got to know the children very quickly and were very skilled in pushing and challenging them in a supportive manner. All staff were very friendly. One child who has cerebal palsy was very well supported and he participated in everything. Certificates were lovely - nicely personalised ! A fantastic place - we are looking forward to next year ! Booking procedure - Everything is so well organised - it makes our job so much easier ! Website great to find documents needed. 10/10 for all activities ! All very accessible for one of our children with cerebal palsy. Staff were excellent at providing appropriate support and challenge. Lots of 'accessible' features were really useful eg. Steps out of the lake/piranha pool etc. 'Accessible' aids for Archery, Climbing etc."
